EDGSO supports children and youth in primary, secondary, and tertiary education. The beneficiaries are supported attend school and be retained with tuition/fees, scholastic materials, school requirements and monitoring them at school for their performance. Scholastic materials includes (Bags, books, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, reading books, Atlas, colored pencils), school requirements support, uniforms, shoes  for school and casual, clothing, feeding at school and facilitating tours.

This program builds the capacity of young people and women in hands on employable skills for employment and self reliance. Youth and women are supported with tuition to acquire skills in different trainings depending on the interests of the beneficiaries. The organization attaches project beneficiaries to local artisans for hands on trainings. The trainees are supported with training materials and tool kits. Music dance and drama, computer, life skills, Gymnastic, Acrobatics, games and sports are trained at the centre. The trainees are supported with machines and tools during their trainings in tailoring, shoe making, brick making, carpentry and joinery, training materials and tuition.

EDGSO strives to promote the right to health of the project beneficiaries. Trainings in health related issues are conducted in the community by health and social workers organize health check-ups, counseling and immunization.  Conduct trainings in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment adherence and hygiene in the community. Where resources are the organization supports the children and youth with ARV s, mosquito nets, water guards, de-worming services. Support to adolescent girls with sanitary towels to keep them in school.  

Support youth and women with revolving loans for income generation to support their families and themselves. Training in savings, entrepreneurship and facilitating women to form savings and credit societies. Training of women in income generating activities, music dance and drama, training in information and communication technology (ICT)
